Laurie, I'm glad to see you here. Those perfectionists (external or internal) can put a damper on our writing. It's great advice I think to not be intimidated by perfection. My 4th grader -- no grammar freak -- said he can't start a sentence with "And" when he saw me starting with one. Talk about feeling self-conscious.
