P.S. The new design is sleek and cool. Feels a little bare, though. Maybe you need a huge comfy chair in the corner with a lamp for reading??? LOL ;-)

  2. Hiya George,

Glad the upgrade went well and I’m looking forward to the ebook and newsletter.

In regards to the new theme, I would have to agree with Michele: It does feel a little bare. But sometimes a minimalistic approach is the way forward. It’ll take some getting used to, but it’s less distracting, I think. Overall… I like it!

  4. Hi Michele,

Thanks for the feedback! I’m going to spruce it up this evening. White picket fence, red tulips, a few lawn gnomes…

  5. Johnny,

Thanks for dropping by with the kind words.

I do feel like things are kinda coming together – finally!

    Cheers

  6. Hi Cassie,

I’m glad you like it. I do enjoy minimalist stuff, seems to fit the simple man I am.

    Thanks for coming by!

  7. Hey George! I just did a bit of tweaking over at Howls too — great minds think alike and all that 8=) I didn’t go for the radical change that you did since Howls hasn’t been around as long but it’s good to keep things fresh.

This is a nice, clean look and I like how the comments are formatted in this theme much better. I’m not sure what it was with the old one, but it always seemed disjointed and jumbled to me. It was hard to separate the comment from the name and latest post.

  8. George, thank you for the kind comment on my most recent post. I do enjoy the theme change. It has more of a professional writer’s feel to it. When I click on to Tumblemoose, I feel I’m in a sort of exclusive club for ever-improving writers!

Looks like Tumblemoose is moving on up, upgrading, and improving. I’m excited!

  9. Brittany,

I think that is possibly one of the nicest things anyone has ever said about Tumblemoose. Makes me feel great, it does.

Said it before, and I’ll say it again – I love my Tumblemoose Clan!

  10. Hi Tricksie,

Thanks for the feedback. Just remember me when you are on your world-wide book tour – don’t forget to make Alaska one of your stops.

  11. This is great, George — I’m glad the upgrade went well!

I, too, use Hostgator and Fantastico, and I upgraded to 2.7 a couple weeks ago — and it was easy as pie :-) . I was shocked, because I’d been putting it off for months. Sometimes things AREN’T as difficult or expensive as they seem!

By the way, what’s the plugin called below, which shows the commenter’s blog’s previous posts? I was looking for it yesterday, couldn’t find.

    Thanks,
    Laurie

  12. Hi Laurie,

I’m glad your WP upgrade went well, too! I also had put mine off for months.

The comment feature is commentluv. There is a logo at the very bottom of this section and clicking it should take you right there.

    Thanks for coming by!
