The World’s Strongest New Blog of the Week

I am getting a big kick out of traveling the blogoverse looking for suitable candidates for the New Blog of the Week.  I had several contenders this week and then I decided to check just one more site.  Well, I arrived there and my job was done.  This NBOTW really hits the ball out of the park.  The “About” page is one of the best I have seen on a blog.  By the time you’re done reading it, you not only know a great deal about the owner, but you will also be anxious to subscribe as well.  I’m certain of it.

Some of his About Page quips

Here are just a few samplings of his philosophies:

I figure that either everyone is special or nobody is. If I’m someone, you’re someone. Right now I’m just a guy who can’t get enough of this stuff and has a simple philosophy of life: Don’t make anyone’s day worse. Make it better when you can, but first do no harm.”

The inside of my wife’s wedding ring says “I will never bore you.”

That’s the promise I’m making. My main goal is not to bore myself…or you. We’ve all got enough drama in our lives. This is a chance to lighten up and get our bodies and minds clicking in ways that we all need.”

He also says that this is a “blog for anyone looking to get stronger, healthier, smarter, and who wants to enjoy every day of their lives.

It’s also crazy and scattered–like most of our lives.

Intrigued?

Yup.  So was I.  Check out the titles for some of his recent posts:

George, I’m truly impressed. Seriously. I’ve spent some time at The World’s Strongest Librarian today and I’m LOVING it! You’re right… that About page is so awesome! And I loved the post about food and the world’s relationship with fad diets. I’ve subscribed and am now following Josh on Twitter and I know I’ll enjoy his site from now on–thanks to YOU!

I love finding out which blog you’ve discovered each week. This is a great thing you’re doing here. And, yes, I think fate definitely saved the best for last!

It also reminds me that I need to get back to featuring a health site of the week on my health blog. I really enjoy doing that. Thanks for the inspiration, George!

Way to go, George. I loved this blog!!

Josh is *so* funny and self-deprecating, but he also generates meaningful discussion in his Comments area. It was well worth the visit and the time spent. I really enjoyed it. Smiles, giggles and good think time. The perfect combo.
