Over the past six months or so I’ve developed a good working relationship with Teresa Morrow with Key Business Partners, LLC. I’ve participated in several of these virtual book tours and each time I’m offered the opportunity to participate once again, I get enthused and anxious to write the post. Last week. Teresa sent me an E-book copy of #PROJECTMANAGEMENTtweet. I’ve done these “tweet” books and I really like them. Tons of information packed into a small space.
These days there is so much information that is competing for our precious reading time. There are a lot of great resources out there no matter what line of work we are in. The problem for most of us is finding the time to read worthwhile information. I know that in the past I’ve ordered books that apply to me and when I finally get the chance to read them they sometimes stink up my office and they have virtually no application to the real world. My valuable time has been wasted.
#PROJECTMANAGEMENTtweet does not waste any of your valuable time. It gets the job done in bite-sized “tweets” format. 140 of them. Each one more valuable than the previous.
If you’re thinking that an E-book like this only applies to senior management large project types then you’d be a little off base. The helpful tips here are applicable to nearly any project for any reason. Heck you could use the information here for your closet organization project.
Most of the readers here are writers, so I’d like to address that crowd. Think about the last freelance gig you had. Did you think of it like a project? If not, there is a chance that some things ended up being missed along the way. More importantly, you probably ended up doing way more work than what was needed to get the job done. A little E-book like this one could have saved you hours or trouble and heartache.
The format of #PROJECTMANAGEMENTtweet is designed to allow you to tackle the wisdom one day at a time. Essentially you have 140 characters of advice that you review and implement that day. It’s easy to see how this could fit into the busiest of schedules. My recommendation is to read through the book in its entirety, then start the next day, one tweet at a time.
The style of the tweets in this book is relatively informal and not stuffy at all. They are designed to help you think on your feet and they are designed to make your current project the smoothest one yet.
In short, #PROJECTMANAGEMENTtweet is worthwhile and a must have addition to your must-read list of books.
