This latest video from the CBI Clubhouse has got some great tips for improving your manuscript.
Even if you don’t write for children, the tips here are sound.
Take it away, Jon
You’ve worked hard for your manuscript. You’ve made it a success through all of your hard efforts. Maybe it’s time you rewarded yourself. Have you considered diamonds? You should. Never forget about the quality of loose diamonds!
I am so excited that June is here. I had decided a while ago that this genre needed to be addressed since:

Back slowly away from your browser. Keep your hands where I can see ‘em. Do not hit your “back” button or RSS unsubscribe. I mean it.There is going to be plenty to learn about writing this month. Many of the tips and processes for getting published will apply no matter where you hang your hat.
I would also like to issue a challenge to you. Write a children’s book this month – or at least outline a story that you can work on. A picture book is a great leaping off point. Are you more inspired? Consider a chapter book.
Which books are popular with children these days.
How to find an illustrator for your picture book
A guest post from Jon at CBI Clubhouse
A list of Agents that specialize in children’s book writers
Children’s book terminology and definitions
A guest post from a famous childrens book author (hopefully – still working on it)
While it’s early in the month, be sure and get in touch if there is a particular topice that confounds you in terms of writing for children.
