One of my favorite people out there is Joanna Young over at Confident Writing. She is interactive and has an engaging writing style and Confident Writing has a tremendous amount of excellent information to help writers.
One of her latest projects is to have writers select their best post and write a quick blurb about why that is.
I’ve gone back over the relatively short life-span of Tumblemoose and here is what I’ve chosen:
Finding your writer’s voice, published on November 28.
This post is simply the best because I believe that your writing voice is the basic foundation to being a success as a writer, and I think this post presents a unique and helpful perspective.
If you get the opportunity, head on over to Confident Writing and have a look around. Also, dig up your best and submit it just like I’ve done here. After the first of the year, Joanna is going to publish the list. I am really looking forward to it and anticipate a long day of reading and commenting.

I always trust your suggestions, so I will put that in my read later bookmarks and check it out! Thanks for sharing.

George,
Joanna’s site is great. I’ll definitely have to stop over for the challenge.
Patricia, do you use wordpress? They have an easy way to add links. I am only familiar with wordpress for a blog platform.

George, high five and thumbs up. You’ve nailed it solid with your points on writing in your own voice.
As a marketing copywriter my goal is to adopt the voice, style, and tone of my clients’ audiences so that I accomplish the marketing objective. When my own voice emerges, words come from my soul and I think “was that me speaking”? It’s a pleasant surprise.
All best!

Thank you so much for the comment. I’m going to head on over to your site and see what it’s all about!
Cheers!

Dee,
In response to your question, yes I do have wordpress, but I am very technically illiterate…I also have a IT person to do all my posting and computer work….I am supposed to be learning how to do these things myself and I am finding myself a extremely slow learner in this area – both because I find it so hard, I avoid, and because of the shear volume of things I need to learn!
