I’m taking my new job very seriously.  I remember how it felt when Barbara of Blogging Without A Blog sent me a sneaky little email, advising me to look for a little surprise.  I was humbled and honored.  I spent some time perusing different sites around the ol’ blogosphere and wouldn’t you know it, I ran across the New Blog of the Week through the prolific comments the owner was leaving at Barbara’s place as well as a few other blog sites.

What struck me first was just the quality and thoughtfulness of her comments.  Always contributing in an engaging  manner.  Always with a positive spin as well.  In trying to keep with a general theme of positive and helpful blogs as a primary criteria for selection, hers seemed to be a natural fit.

When you head on over to her place, it feels like a welcome rest stop on the side of a busy road at the end of a long day.  You just want to take your shoes off, grab a glass of cold lemonade and hang around for a bit, enjoying the view.
