Ok, now that I’ve got your attention, here’s the deal.
This is my daily schedule. I admit that to some extent it is ummm, fluid dynamic. With that said, I try to adhere to it as much as possible. It helps to keep me organized and provides a little structure. No one else is telling me what to do with my time, so it may as well be me.
First, I have to confess that I am one of “those people”. That’s right. A morning person. Wait! Don’t leave yet! Other than that, I’m really an OK guy. I have the most energy and do my best work early in the day.
I want to see yours. Show me what you got. Bring it on. I want to know if you have a daily schedule that you try to stick with, or do you just take each day/project as it comes. If you don’t have a daily schedule, then how do you organize your time? Do you have commitments fall through or do you use another method to ensure their completion?
5:00am – Mr Alarm starts buzzin’. Stumble up for java and head to the office (37 steps from the kitchen as I recall)
5:30 – 6:30 – Open Outlook and see what the email Gods have dropped in my box
6:30 – 7:30 – Review my feeds and comment as appropriate
7:30 – 8:00 – Peruse the freelance writing job sites for any new leads
8:00 – 10:00 – Work on current blog commitments
10:00 – Noon – Any large/continuing projects
Noon – Noon30 – Stumble, poke around the web
One-ish to Three-ish – My writing time. Work on the novel, short stories, contests
Three-ish until I’m tired of staring at the monitor – Back to any large or continuing projects
Throughout the day, I’m checking emails and responding appropriately (sometimes inappropriately he-he).
I don’t want to give the wrong impression so please don’t picture me sitting in front of my computer the whole time. I let the dogs out, grab a bite, head to the store – every day life kind of things.
For the most part, I really try to stick to this. It seems to be working so far.
So, post ‘em if ya got ‘em. Let’s see those schedules

I don’t know about showing you mine, so early in the relationship, but I’ll give you a little teaser.
I had become somewhat a morning person, but more by conditioning than nature. I’m finding the more I let myself sleep in a bit, the more I want to sleep in a bit. But I’m usually up by 7ish.
Uh, that’s about the end of my routine. Now that I’m losing my morning-personness I find I’m also losing my schedule-personness.
I guess I’m going to hell in a handbasket!
Terry Heath´s last blog post..I’ll show you mine if you show me yours…
Terry,
Too funny. I hope there’s lots of room in that handbasket!
Sorry about the commentluv mix up. Not sure what’s up with that, I’ll try and fix.
Thanks for stopping by!
