  1. George, this is the perfect philosophy for any writer to live by. Thank you! I’ll contact you by email to ask permission to reprint this for my students.

Meanwhile, I’m going to keep this article open in my browser tab all day today and live by it myself. :)

    • Hi Tracy,

Thanks! I’d love to do NaNoWriMo but it’s not in the cards for me this year. Thanks for the reminder tho, I need to get a post out about that.

  2. Hi George,

I think this is exactly what I needed to hear to get my writing going again. You know, Im still be lazy with posting on Insight Writer. And really, instead of looking at it as something huge I just need to start doing a little at a time. Short articles really are ok to write. I shouldn’t feel like i need to always write something really long. Thanks so much!

    Cheers,
    Jeremy

  4. Now, that looks solid to me. After all, it’s only for a day, right? Does it come with a fine print that says I can extend it on a day to day basis? I bet it does. That’s the point after all – trampling on one’s fears one day at a time.

Maybe with this mindset we get nearer to calling ourselves author. Right, George? What a fine title that is. :)
