  1. Happy birthday Tumblemoose Writing Services. Congratulations, George.

Three months from now, I’d celebrate my one year, too. I just hope my government will declare it a national holiday, too. Is wearing a kilt in any a factor in this good fortune you have? If it is so then I still have time to strut my stuff huh? Psst – I’d love have a huge pic on the side of a tall building, too. :)

  2. Happy First Birthday, Tumblemoose!

I can only imagine that passionate night of your conception one dark and stormy night a year ago.

There he was, your pappa, all worked up by the Homer Muse, out behind the fish-gutting plant where they worked. He, a dashing Scotsman. She, a blogsmackin’ baby Lolita in a tie-dye T-shirt and low-slung jeans.

And then that climactic moment. That explosion!

Your daddy cried out “Tumblemoose!” and she gave him kind of a wierd sideways look as their X’s and Y’s merged in holy verbosity. It must have been quite a sight. Down by the chum barrels on that Homerian dockside.

But here you are, you one-year old beauty, full of mischief and fun!

And there’s your daddy, worried already about you meeting some guy just like him.

And I see your mother, rising on transparent wings above the shoddy Alaskan blogging district, with another big smile on her face, a cigarette in her pouting lips, saying something like “I’ll be back in a year from now, you big blogging buck!”

And that’s the other side of the story ….

    Cheers!

    • Ha! See? That’s what I love about ya, Wayne! Man, that’s a beaut. Exactly as it happened, from what me daddy tells me.

      I’m all smiles, buddy. Thanks!

      George

  6. George, you always either crack me up or inspire me (or both). This one was both. Loved the celebratory mood of this post.

And, if I’m not mistaken, our new fearless leader is the one and only TUMBLEMOOSE. A military parade in your honor and all. Well done. You’ve already conquered the world with your blog! And in a kilt, no less. I’d say that calls for expensive champagne.

(Great Photoshopping there, with the leg behind the tree ;~)
