Agents and Editors:
Thanks for taking the time out of your busy day to have a look at the site. Feel free to spend a few minutes here reviewing my work and getting a feel for my style and voice. I enjoy what I do and though my style is conversational, I’d like to think my passion for writing flows as an undercurrent through all of my work.
I guess I’m like a lot of authors in that I really do love to write. In some ways I’m not like a lot of authors out there. My philosophy about getting my books published is simple: I have a product (book) I’d like to sell. Your efforts to reach that end goal should be complemented and bolstered by my efforts to accomplish the same. When we come to an agreement to make this happen, I’m on board with whatever needs to be done. I am responsible for my own success.
In terms of the writing itself, I am very easy to work with. I understand revision and re-write. I trust you experts in the industry to give me the advice needed based on current industry trends.
I would like to think that even a cursory perusal of the archives should give a pretty good representation of my writing style and voice. In addition to what you see here, I have written content for several sites. Let me know, and I can forward articles or web addresses to you. I’m happy to do it.
Completed Manuscripts, ready to go:
The Canoe Tree – Picture Book
A single tear is all the magic it takes to save Sagra’s village from starvation. Tradition and family run deep. Sagra finds out just how deep.
Works in Progress:
The Hammy Chronicles – Misadventures of a Most Absurd Hamster – Picture Book
Hammy has figured out a secret escape hatch in his cage. When he comes out at night, his imagination (and trouble) take flight.
Bully – Young Adult
When Eddie Cortez turns in the school bully for theft, he sets in motion a school year of hell. Bishop makes it his personal mission to terrorize the new kid. Nothing is out of the realm of possibility. Nothing.
Diner – Mystery
A graphic murder in the opening scene sets the stage for one damned tough case. LA Detective Marquis Lorenzo will have to pull every favor and bust a few heads to catch the killer. The stakes are raised when Lorenzo falls for the main witness.
Flash Fiction – A Collection of Short-Short Stories – Collection
Masterful story telling in a thousand words or less. No time or room for fluff here. Every word counts.
I write a lot of content for the web. Since you’re here, I assume you’ve spent a little time looking through my blog posts. If not grab a cup of coffee, sit back and spend a little time reading through some of the posts. I think you’ll find them informative and entertaining.
Here are a few other web sites that showcase my work:
