Commanding the helm of the new blog of the week is not an easy task, I am quickly discovering. Through my internet travels I bookmark potential candidates and then when the time is write, I put those under a microscope. I look for young sites that have interesting perspectives and great information. However great information is not the only criteria. Some of the sites I considered this time were either too plain or too difficult to navigate. Some were too monetized and others had strong religious overtones. So after a bit of reflection, I’ve decided that I’m especially happy to offer up the one today.
One of the things that makes a strong site is the personality of the owner. You certainly want someone who engages the audience and interacts through the comment section. (Sorry Seth Godin, you don’t make the grade in this category) The New Blog of the Week this time is a site that I have been visiting for nearly my entire life as a blogger. Every time I visit his site I walk away with fresh ideas for how to make my business a little smarter.
I love the look and feel of this web site. It is clean and fresh. Lots of white space so I don’t feel rushed.
