Your &quot;playing the field&quot; tip is one of my favorite strategies for staying busy and not ruminating on the rejections! The more projects I&#039;m involved in, the less time I have to worry -- and the more success I enjoy. It&#039;s a numbers game, really!

And it works for all types of writing, from children&#039;s to nonfiction magazine to poetry  :-)
