    Your “playing the field” tip is one of my favorite strategies for staying busy and not ruminating on the rejections! The more projects I’m involved in, the less time I have to worry — and the more success I enjoy. It’s a numbers game, really!

    And it works for all types of writing, from children’s to nonfiction magazine to poetry :-)
